What the Bible says about Politics
Michael Jensen

God and Politics: can they co-exist? Religion and politics are a controversial combination. Many people are alarmed at the intervention of religious voices in the public square. Aren't we supposed to live in a secular society? And yet it is impossible to ask people to leave their beliefs at the door. If Christians proclaim that Jesus is 'Lord', doesn't that have nakedly political ramifications? Join theologian and author Dr Michael Jensen who will address these pertinent and pressing issues in this intriguing lecture.

Dr Jensen is the Rector of St Mark's Darling Point and teaches theology at the Sydney College of Divinity. He had published several books, and his writing has appeared in many of Australia's major newspapers. He has appeared on QandA and The Drum, and podcasts at With All Due Respect. His most recent book is "Subjects and Citizens. The politics of the gospel: Lessons from Romans 12-15".
